What a great trip it was, and a flurry of birds in just 7 days. Here's a summary of how results.
Total species seen for this trip = 210
Total lifers seen for this trip = 17
Total species added to my Panama list = 29
Total species I've seen for all time in Panama = 374
Total species on my life list = 1,161
Total new mammal species seen = 2 (Anteater and Jaguarundi)
Total mammal species I have seen = I have no idea - one day I'll tally them up!
Total lifers I thought I had, but turned out I had already seen them = 3 (White-ruffed Manakin I had seen at Cerro Azul in 2010 ; Greenish Elaenia I had seen in Ecuador in 2011; Black-tailed Trogon I had seen on Pipeline Road in 2008). Note to self - must improve memory.
Until next time, happy birding.
